The Blomberg - winter fun for the whole family

"Why travel far away when good things are so close!". This applies exactly to the winter offerings on the Blomberg near Bad Tölz. Munich's local mountain is famous for its summer toboggan runs, but offers an equally rich leisure programme for young and old in the snowy season. The new "Blomberg-Blitz ", the 1300 metre-long alpine rollercoaster at the foot of the Blomberg, is also open in the winter months.
One of the longest and most beautiful natural toboggan runs winds its way from the middle station through the snow-covered mountain forest down into the valley. The ascent and transport of the toboggans takes place in the comfortable chairs of the double chairlift. There are 300 sledges available for hire at the valley station. Night tobogganing* is offered on Saturdays from 19:00 - 22:00. There are 2 routes available for ski tourers.

We recommend a stop at the Blombergtenne at the valley station, which invites you to take a break with warm drinks and delicacies. The sun terrace and restaurants of the Blomberghaus at 1200 metres above sea level are also a popular destination for winter hikers and tobogganists, who can treat themselves to warm drinks and Bavarian delicacies.
There are 20 kilometres of winter hiking trails on the high plateau and the snow-covered "Sinneswandel" art trail is also a worthwhile excursion destination.

The Blomberg is located directly on the B472 motorway between Bad Tölz and Bad Heilbrunn.
