See the oldest manually operated piston pump with an air outlet from 1876, which was made in Leipzig, and the collection depicting the history of ironworks.

The Muta Forge and Fire Fighters Museum was established in 1973. The museum exhibits items and material collected in the area of the Municipality of Muta, which are divided in four collections: forge and foundry collection, collection of ethnological items, fire-fighting collection and culture and history collection.

The forge and foundry collection tries to comprehensively portray the history of ironmaking and blacksmithing. It is complemented by an outdoor museum exhibiting items such as a winch, crane, water-driven hammer or repač, and a saw.

The collection of ethnological items includes farm tools, pottery products and small household utensils. The collection also includes independent exhibitions of shoemaking and shaving tools.

The majority of items found in the fire-fighting collection have been contributed by the Muta Association of Firemen. The oldest manually operated piston pump with an air outlet from 1876 was made in Leipzig. In addition to pumps, the collection exhibits other fire-fighting equipment, uniforms and archival material of the Drava valley volunteer fire department.

Culture and history collection depicts a dynamic cultural life in Muta at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. (summarised from: kpm.si)
