Circuit randonnée : Ermitage de Notre-Dame de Pène - CASES-DE-PENE

This easy trail will take you from the village of Cases-de-Pène to the old chapel, a vestige of the past, where the county castle of Pèna once overlooked this part of the Agly valley. From the old village this trail will make you start to climb uphill, through a modern housing estate, and suddenly, you will be in the middle of nature : a wild limestone valley lined with garrigue (characteristic local scrubland), in the middle of slabs of rock. Take in the view and savour the serenity of the place.
