The large lawn with a panoramic view of the region's mountains offers enough space for relaxed sunbathing with the whole family, even on hot summer days. There is also a playground for the little ones. Three jetties guarantee a gentle immersion in the green, shimmering Gleinkersee water, which is tested monthly. And if you are looking for a little variety, you can also explore the furthest corners of the lake on a Surbike, pedal boat or rowing boat, or learn about the legends and myths of the region on a tour on the large Saga boat. Gleinkersee: old quality, redefined.

The Gasthaus Seebauer has been completely redesigned since 2009. The old, dilapidated building was demolished. Instead, the new house, which was modeled on the farms of the region, combines the strengths of the past with modern gastronomic comfort. Down-to-earth home cooking in the usual, highest quality as in the past decades, meets more space in the self-service area during the bathing season and two cozy parlors for cooler rainy days. The guest garden with the mighty chestnut trees invites you to stay as usual. In addition, it is now better shielded from the access road to the campsite and the caravan site, which was enlarged last year. Plenty of space for tents and caravans With a caravan or tent at the Gleinkersee - that means relaxation in the midst of the fascinating Pyhrn-Priel region. Breakfast a stone's throw from the lake, a cozy barbecue in the open air in the evening and then an atmospheric round around the campfire. In addition, the perfect infrastructure including a new lounge, showers and toilet facilities. The trailer park offers space for 25 trailers; Electricity, sewer and water connection included. Pike and trout Crystal clear water also offers perfect conditions for fish of the highest quality. The Gleinkersee is an Eldorado for many native fish species. The range extends from mighty pike to char or brown trout. Incidentally, fishing permits are available at the Gasthaus Seebauer.

Adventure Gleinkersee
A day at the Gleinkersee promises more than just swimming and relaxing. Because at the Gleinkersee there is also an adventure to be had. Directly behind the sunbathing lawn is a spectacular high ropes course. Balancing over steel cables, wooden bridges or rapid gliding on one of the longest flying fox systems in Upper Austria. Pure adrenaline is the order of the day - well secured and with competent support, of course.

Hike
The Gleinkersee is also an ideal starting point for numerous hikes. Whether to the Dümlerhütte, to the Seespitz, the Warscheneck, the Wurzeralm or simply on leisurely paths around the lake or to the impressive Pießling origin. Where the crayfish still lives It is considered to be practically extinct throughout Austria: the local crayfish. The impressive animal, up to twenty centimeters tall and only found in a few bodies of water. In the Gleinkersee, the strictly protected noble crayfish has one of its last retreats with perfect living conditions and the highest water quality.
