4545: Via Ferrata Jägihorn

1,000 metres of steel cable, 400 anchor points, and a stomach-churning suspension bridge: Jägihorn, above Saas-Grund, is one of the most jawdropping Via Ferrata in the Alps. The Jägihorn is not rated for beginners. If you would like to go on your first Via Ferrata, go on the one at Mittaghorn above Saas-Fee. The Jägihorn Via Ferrata you can reach by an hour of hike from the gondola station at Kreuzboden. The route it self takes approximatly 3 hours. From the top of Jägihorn, it takes a bit more than an hour on a high alpine hiking trail to get back to Kreuzboden. Video: Patrick Gasser Media Concepts
