Museum St. Johann in Tirol

Museum, Galerie und Archiv in zwei historischen Gebäuden

A special exhibition about the Kaiser mountain range includes paintings, panoramas, photographs and films as well as a very true to nature relief model of these mountains. Prehistoric finds and a life size model of a cave bear are also on display as well as some legendary green earthworms. Exhibits on alpinism provide an insight into the history of mountaineering and an ascent up to the „Babenstuber Hütte“, completes the Museum “mountain tour.”
