The large international area of the Espace San Bernardo hosts tourists from all over the world, skiing up to 2800 metres on 81 pistes for 152 km of tracks of all difficulties, from easy to very technical.
Among the technical slopes is the legendary 3 Franco Berthod, a black slope with a maximum gradient of 73%, which descends to the village, the steepest in Italy. A challenging track for experts and which, as was the case in 2016 and 2020, was the terrain of the Women's Super Giant and Downhill World Cup competitions.
A single ski pass gives access to the 38 modern and fast lifts of Espace San Bernardo, which, with a total hourly capacity of 63,000 people, allow users to ski non-stop and without queuing on the slopes of the two sides of the resort: the Italian side facing north and characterised by compact snow, and the French side facing south and very sunny.
