The connecting trail between Wastlhöhe and Sulzbühel offers an exciting challenge for mountain bike enthusiasts and leisure cyclists alike. The trail is characterised by its varied composition: The ground surface varies from firm, easily rideable sections to more challenging, steeper passages. During the ride, bikers can expect a mixture of flat sections, which are ideal for relaxing final breaks and opportunities to enjoy the breathtaking views, as well as steep, winding stretches that will make every trail rider's heart beat faster. The numerous bends demand both skill and a good riding feel, while at the same time providing variety and excitement. In some places, roots and small rock formations cross the trail, which requires additional attention. Nevertheless, the trail is an absolute highlight for all MTB fans thanks to its natural design and impressive landscape. Caution is advised for beginners, while experienced riders can savour the challenges and adventure to the full.
Follow the signposts to the connecting trail no. 60a. The trail starts right at the Wastlhöhe. The trail initially leads through a gentle descent with firm ground so that you can warm up and get into the rhythm. After just a few minutes, enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. After the first descent, a flat section awaits you, which is perfect for a short break. Take the opportunity to take photos of the impressive landscape. After this relaxed section, the trail begins to ascend slightly. Prepare yourself for some winding sections that require skill and concentration. Beware: there may sometimes be roots and small stones in the way. The trail now becomes more challenging. Look forward to steeper descents that will get your adrenalin pumping. Keep your bike stable and ride in a controlled manner to make the most of the bends. As you ride on, you can enjoy fantastic views of the Sulzbühel. The trail ends at Sulzbühel, where you have the opportunity to rest and enjoy the panorama.

Coming from Salzburg: Take the A10 freeway to the Bischofshofen exit, then take the B311 in the direction of Bischofshofen. Follow the Hochkönig Bundesstraße/B164 to Mühlbach and further to Dienten.
Coming from Innsbruck/ Kufstein: On the Loferer Straße/B178 in the direction of St. Johann i.T., then on the Hochkönig Bundesstraße/B164 via Saalfelden and Maria Alm to Dienten or to the Filzensattel.A valid vignette is required to use the Austrian motorway and motorway network.
