The impressive, widely visible parish church "Maria am Stein" is the mother church and probably the oldest church in the region. The parish church "Maria am Stein" is located directly next to the village square in Stuhlfelden. It is the center of a historical and architecturally coherent ensemble consisting of the cemetery, the parish house, the Chiemsee archive, the "Neumaier Häusl," and a small general store that still refers to the pilgrimage.

Hike from the center of Stuhlfelden along trail number 16 towards Pirtendorf to the Oberzehentner inn. From there, hike towards Bamerhof and then switch to trail number 7 heading back to the center of Stuhlfelden.
