The "insider tip" among the Valais ski resorts offers plenty of sunshine, a great guarantee of snow and an extensive area with 87.4 km of winter sports of all levels of difficulty at an altitude of between 3118 and 1322 m.a.s.l. The 160-metre-long ski tunnel on the Hohstock opens up a paradise for deep-snow lovers, snowboarders and freeriders. Summer: Hiking on the car-free Belalp, hiking area at the foot of Europe's longest glacier - the Aletsch Glacier. 6-seater chairlift Sparrhorn in summer mid-July - early September, always in operation from Thursday to Sunday. 23 km of ice at a stretch. Since 2007 you can hike Riederalp-Belalp via the new 124 m long suspension bridge. This 5-hour hike will thrill you and you can experience the Valais mountains up close.
