Dear Hiwu Team and All,

this forum tends to be a bit negative.

Yes, there is always space for improvement but it seems no one takes a time to say "Thank you" for all good things which are there and are result of hard work of the team behind the scene.

With my family, I am very frequent (weekend) visitor for past 6 years here and I can compare with many other ski resorts around Austria, Italy and France.

And I can say that Hinterstoder is one of the best resort in terms of snow falls and season duration, value for money, good restaurants, kids entertainment, distribution of skiers around all slopes during very busy days, accomodation around, rentals, safety and most important - people who work there. They are always nice and helpful and they really watch for the safety of small kids or beginners on the lifts (exceptional).

When there is enough snow, I love to go to 70% inferno as well as my kids who ventured it for the first time when they were 8 and 6. Or FIS track, or all the way down. So many options for everybody. You do not need "160km" of slopes to enjoy fresh air, good mood and energy boost for working week even when traveling back home good 4 hours on Sunday.
