Welcome to the Postwiesen Ski Village in Neuastenberg!

Situated on the southern side of the Kahlen Asten, one of the top ski areas in the Winter Sports Arena awaits with a 100-year tradition. Many snow-covered slopes are a given. Located in the heart of Neuastenberg, guests can reach all slopes within minutes from the hotel or the parking lot.

The central lift is the Panorama chairlift on the eastern slope, providing access to four descents, including a blue descent through the "cannon tube." Riding up in the modern four-seater chairlift offers a magnificent panorama of the entire ski area up to the Kahlen Asten.

The Postwiesen ski area guarantees plenty of rides. Wait times at the lifts are rarely longer than five minutes, and there's ample space on the slopes for carving and turns.

Unique to the region is the Fun Park designed in an international competition format. The course designers have thought of everything that makes snowboarders and freeskiers happy: a large starting hill, two tables four to six meters high, additional rails, boxes, and the Jibline with three wide waves. For the younger ones and those looking to try it out, there's a Funslope line parallel to the Fun Park.

From the centrally located upper Postwiese, a large part of the 16 descents is in sight. The Neuastenberg ski school offers child-friendly kids-on-snow ski courses for the little ones, distinguished by the German Ski Instructors Association. In the colorful children's ski course, the little ones learn with great enthusiasm. A "magic carpet" safely brings the little ones back up. The newly added conveyor belt at the Tenne is also ideal for children. The family card offers affordable lift prices.

The only natural toboggan run in the Sauerland is snow-sure, covering over 400 meters across various tracks, through curves, and over thrilling steep sections. A special toboggan lift ensures comfortable transport uphill. Another simpler tobogganing option is the flat slope 'Tenne' with a convenient conveyor belt for the ascent.

The village descent and the forest descent 'Tenne' are also brightly lit. 4.5 kilometers of descents, including the toboggan run and Fun Park, await skiers under the starry sky.

The floodlight offering is extensive, available three times a week, covering a total of 4.5 km of slopes, a toboggan run, and a fun park. Especially for beginners, children, and snowboarders, there is a small ski lift right below the ski school. It features a special plate device that makes it easy to ride and provides a lot of fun.

New this winter is the joint lift ticket, starting from the day pass, with access to the Winterberg and Altastenberg ski carousel. Free shuttle buses operate continuously from the Nordhang at Kahlen Asten for transportation.
