Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis - We love to Feel Free!
Whether beginner or experienced rider, just the thought of the eight Fun Areas, the 10 Freeride Routes and the great Fun Slopes, which include the incredible Feel Free offer, lets us dive into wild shred fantasies.
If UNESCO also had a list for the World Shred Heritage, then the name Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis would be guaranteed to appear on it. The huge Tyrolean ski area leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to the perfect day in the snow: Eight fun areas, three trails and 10 different freeride routes form the spearhead of the Feel Free range, surrounded by 214 kilometres of pistes, 68 lifts, the finest deep snow and a breathtaking landscape.
*Freestyle Circus Winter 2019/20
The Freestyle Circus Serfaus will spread over three areas in the usual ingenious manner. Everybody starts small: Beginners can learn simple tricks in the Beginner Circus and touch their first metal elements. The Jib Circus has something suitable for every advanced rider: the highlight, however, is the multi-jib feature consisting of a rail combo and a wallride. Flying high in the Progression Circus is proverbial nothing in the way, because this snowpark area offers for absolute professionals concentrated action in the form of 4-17m wide jumps.
Those who want to get high but are afraid of an excessively hard landing will be well advised with the giant air cushions, the two BigAirBags, on the Serfauser and on the Fisser mountain side.
The north side of Fiss is also home to the Fun Area Fiss-Ladis. While beginners can overcome simple obstacles in the Shredpark or on the Fun Slope on the north side of Fiss as well as in the Sunpark on the Möseralm descent and in the Boarderclub, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the village, advanced skiers can put what they have learned into practice in the Snowpark Fiss on the north side of Fiss.
The Feel Free Parkdesigner will once again show their full commitment this year to give you a unique freestyle experience in the mountains around Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. So be ready to unpack your most spectacular and creative tricks.
See you soon in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis!

Freeriding in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis – Kamikaze into the powder ocean
As a freerider you get assailed with adrenaline and endophines when you dive into the unprecedented ocean of powder in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. The backcountry gets even more attractive this winter! We´re adding a new route, which makes it 11 routes in total, where you can surf in accustomed elegant manner through deep snow.
Ride the 11 seas of powder
A proper drop in altitude difference is as essential for riding the backcountry as the literal snow on the mountains. To make sure that freeriders can focus on their supreme discipline instead of spending their time hiking, all our routes can be reached through a lift.
Also via the lift you get to the newest sensation of the skiing resort! As of this year, the challenging route with the appropriate name Skyline can be found right beneath the Schöngampbahn. Feel Free time starts when you arrive at the top and take a look at the breathtaking panorama. It´ll just be a short rest though, because you´ll ticking to dive into the 2km of deep snow floods lying in front of you.
In addition to this new addition, experienced riders can still cruise the 10 well-tried routes. Accomplished riders looking for a longer route can have their way on the Adlerroute, Old Sattel or Powder Nose. Experience a drop of about 400 metres, each over a length of 1,7 to 2 km. Similarly long, but way more ambitious is the Kamikaze route where you ride down the snow waves on a gradient of 70%. A real jewel for advanced riders can be found on the Pezidroute, because here you can prove you´re capable of manoeuvring yourself through the powder. On just 650 metres you´ll have a drop of over 300 metres in altitude.
Freeride Bases instead of Baywatch
In case of emergency there´s only one life belt on the mountain – a constant peeping-sound from under an avalanche and an alpine rescue service who´s locating the signal. Therefore it is very important to bring your safety-equipment like an avalanche transceiver as well as a helmet. Additionally, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ensures safely on a very modern and high level. At the Freeride Bases, backcountry addicts can double check their transceiver and plan which route they want to ride. Moreover, you can find some* information about difficulty level* and characteristics of the lines.
