The market town stretches from the idyllic Saggau Valley up to Soboth and offers ideal conditions for hikers, cyclists, families and lovers of regional cuisine. Since the municipal merger in 2015, Eibiswald has included the districts of Aibl, Großradl, Eibiswald, Pitschgau, St. Oswald ob Eibiswald and Soboth, making it one of the largest municipalities in Styria by area.
