Eggerhof

The Eggerhof is situated in a calm area in the centre of the national park village Mallnitz – surrounded by picturesque mountain scenery of the Hohe Tauern.
In the main building of the Eggerhof we take care of our guests as we have for 90 years. Besides the dining-hall and the bar there is also a lounge and several rooms.
In the new building we welcome you at reception. The house has spacious family rooms, the well-being area and the children’s play area a symbol for family.

We would like to spoil you with our friendly hospitality and create an unforgettable holiday for you!

A special treat!
A smile, a friendly salutation and a hearty breakfast from the rich buffet table to start your day.
Would you like a change in the evening? 3 menus will introduce you to the traditional, international or vegetarian kitchen; fresh salads from the buffet are available to supplement your culinary choices.

We wish you sweet dreams….
…in our comfortable furnished double and family rooms (2 seperate rooms) with shower or bath, toilet, cable TV, radio, partly with balcony or terrace. A lot of rooms have wireless-lan access.

The spa area
In our newly decorated spacious spa area on 120 m² with Finnish sauna, saunarium, warm bench, kneipp tube, adventure showers and silence room you can have a good rest.
Our guests can visit the “Tauernbad” (swimming area) in Mallnitz every day for free!

Boredom? No chance!
Because there is a lot to discover in the children’s area! Furthermore a special challenge is waiting for the kids: an indoor climbing wall!
Also the playground in our big garden is a hot spot. While the little ones are baking cakes out of sand, swinging or climbing the tower, the bigger ones play table tennis, badminton or volleyball. There is also an outdoor boulder wall to be climbed. The whole family can prove their skills there.

Summer dream
If summiteers of the Hohe Tauern on over 3,000 metre, hikers can enjoy the middle altitude or placid walkers on discovery can tour the three valleys: Everyone will enjoy an impressive natural experience. Adventurers, who want to inhale the nature even more, can find their passion in canyoning, rafting, mountain biking or climbing. Afterwards you can relax on the sun terrace or on the lawn for sunbathing and listen to the gentle rush of the mountain stream.
If there is again a call for action: the “national park Carinthian card” offers you the key to over 120 attractions and places of excursion in our region.
