Prettau/Predoi - a real mountain paradise!

Prettau/Predoi is the northernmost community in South Tyrol. The community is very famous for its copper mine, which has become a very popular exhibition mine. In addition, a speleotherapy gallery was set up in the old mine. The particular micro-climate there has a relieving effect on people who suffer from allergies or those who have problems with the respiratory ways. The speleotherapy mine gallery, in combination with the possibility for allergy sufferers to stay in so-called “respiration accommodations,” offers an added value for health-conscious holidaymakers and increases life quality in general.

In Prettau/Predoi, the inhabitants place great value upon maintaining traditions and customs. This also includes lace making and wood carving.
