A Ski Arlberg ticket is much more than an admission ticket. It is the key to unique skiing fun that knows no limits in the largest ski area in Austria and in one of the five largest in the world. And that in the truest sense of the word, as the more than 300 kilometers of ski runs, 200 kilometers of deep snow runs and the 87 cable cars and lifts in St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Zürs, Lech, Schröcken and Warth impressively demonstrate.

From the cradle of alpine skiing to today's pioneers

The Arlberg has always stood for a pioneering spirit in winter sports: With the Arlberg School, Hannes Schneider revolutionized skiing technology, in 1937 Austria's first tow lift was built in Zürs and the Galzigbahn in St. Anton was the first cable car designed for winter operation. These and other innovations made the Arlberg famous as the cradle of alpine skiing. This pioneering spirit can still be found on the Arlberg today. With the opening of the Flexenbahn between Zürs and Stuben/Rauz, Ski Arlberg recently set another milestone in its long history of success. Thanks to the connection, skiers can now easily and comfortably reach all places on the Arlberg on skis. Not only unique natural landscapes await, but also the RUN of FAME, the spectacular ski circuit that leads through the entire Ski Arlberg ski area. On the 85 kilometers and 18,000 meters in altitude you follow in the footsteps of the ski pioneers and legends from sport and film, who are also honored in the HALL of FAME at the Flexenbahn mountain station.

High-tech for maximum comfort

The mountain railways rely on innovative high-tech infrastructure for maximum comfort. An average of nine meters of snowfall per winter and approx. 70 percent snow-covered slopes make Ski Arlberg one of the most snow-reliable ski areas. There are no fewer than 87 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts available to winter sports enthusiasts. Many of them are equipped with the seat heaters invented on the Arlberg and all with contactless lift access via the reusable Ski Arlberg Card. The highest level of comfort and optimal supervision by well-trained snow sports instructors awaits you on the numerous ski conveyor belts in the children's area and beginner's areas.
